The filament is specially developed for aeromodelling.
At 210-270 degrees, the material starts to foam.
The adhesive layers are stable and the foaming speed and strength can be controlled by adjusting the printing temperature.
Using active foaming technology to achieve lightweight, low-density PLA parts, the foaming volume ratio is 220% and the density is as low as 0.54g/cm3.
The layer of the foaming pattern is made almost invisible, and the surface of the printed object is matte and neat.
Under the same model and at the same speed, the lightweight PLA allows the model aircraft to have a lighter wing load and a lower stall speed, which can significantly improve the model aircraft's performance.

Notes
- Note that the speed setting of the first layer corresponds to the actual printing speed, set to 100% of the actual printing speed, turn off the first layer and the small area printing speed reduction function, the first layer extrusion speed corresponds to the actual foaming extrusion speed, such as 270 degrees set at 45% of the first layer's extrusion speed
- Pay attention to the printer's maximum operating temperature. Most Teflon printers cannot be used for a long time above 250℃. Prolonged printing above this temperature may cause jamming. If the temperature exceeds 250℃, high temperature printer is required.
- Yellowing of printed parts after high temperature foaming is a normal phenomenon. Lowering the print temperature can alleviate this.
- Since ePLA-LW foams continuously in the nozzle's melting chamber, retraction does not work in principle. Stringing is normal during printing. It is recommended to print the rc plane in vase mode to reduce the effect of stringing.
- Foam ratio is related to temperature, printing speed, nozzle thickness, pay attention to compare the model design wall thickness according to your own printing situation, adjust extrusion speed, temperature, speed and other parameters.
Storage
How to store filament:
1. If you are going to leave your printer inactive for more than a couple of days, please retract the filament to protect the printer nozzle.
2. To extend the life of your filaments, put the release filament back into the original vacuum bag and store it in a cool, dry place after printing.
3. When storing your filament, please feed the loose end through the holes on the edge of the filament roll to avoid winding, so that it will feed properly the next time you use it.
