Premium nozzles
Premium nozzles from PrimaCreator are a series of replacement nozzles that can make a bigger difference to the result than you think. Having a high quality nozzle is like having a sharp pencil, you need it to get a good print.
High quality
All PrimaCreator nozzles are made from the highest quality brass or steel (depending on type) and are finished in a state-of-the-art factory. All nozzles are manufactured with a tolerance of less than ± 0.01 mm. This means that your filament wire will have a very smooth and clear surface when extruded, which of course results in better prints.
- After this process, the material goes through an ultrasonic bath, after which it is cleaned again and protected against surface oxidation.
- The nozzle will now take shape with millimeter precision, the tolerance is less than ± 0.01 mm.
- Removing sharp edges from the nozzles is a very important step as it makes up a large part of the result. If there are too many sharp edges left on the nozzle, it becomes easier to clog it. It is therefore important that the nozzle is very smooth and clean before use. In each batch, a few nozzles are selected and cut in half to ensure that all specifications are met and the surface is in perfect condition.
- The nozzles are then checked one last time and individually packed in a protective box - ready to be shipped to you.
Recommendations
For best results and optimal print quality, we strongly recommend that you reset the build plate level when changing to a new nozzle. Note that a PrimaCreator nozzle may be compatible with your printer, but the distance between the nozzle and the build plate must be adjusted.
