Polymaker PolyWood
Polymaker PolyWood
PolyWood is made entirely from PLA using a special foaming technique. It has the same density and appearance as wood. PolyWood is a filament that mimics wood without actual wood powder, which eliminates any risk of nozzle clogging.
- Easy to print
- Good resistance

Polymaker PolyWood
This Specialty family offers unique filaments from Polymaker to open up new 3D printing applications.
PolyWood
PolyWood™ is made entirely from PLA using a special foaming technique. It has the same density and appearance as wood. PolyWood™ is a filament that mimics wood without actual wood powder, eliminating any risk of nozzle clogging.
The printed parts have a fantastic surface finish and visual layering is minimized. More colors and materials are already in development.
The density of Polywood is on average 0.8 g/cm3, which is 35-40% less than PLA. Due to the low density, the component has a lower weight.
