Simple is a resin that is even easier to print and so easy to wash that it uses low concentration (15%) alcohol. The resin has a good resolution, is extremely easy to work with and color and is affordable. It must be completely dry before curing as it absorbs water and would be best if the print is protected with clear coat.
Shake the bottle and mix the resin in the tub before you start printing!
Simple Resin is an affordable resin that is easy to print and clean for general use, ideal for model making such as board game figures.
The print can be cleaned with 15% alcohol and is ideal for users of large format printers and newer resin printers
Simple Resin is very easily dissolved by water, so do not leave the print in alcohol or water for more than 20 seconds.
Wash the print quickly and dry quickly with a hair dryer if needed.
Do not expose the print to the sun until the print is completely dry after finishing.
The ideal printing condition for Simple Resin is above 20C, When printing below 15C so increase the bottom exposure time.
Before printing
It is good practice to stir resin in the vat and expose the bottom of the vat to air before printing. This replenishes oxygen in the tub and helps reduce stress on the FEP material.
Notes
- For good printing results, a temperature of the resin between 25-30 degrees is recommended
- Shake well before use. Avoid direct sunlight during use.
- Store the resin bottle in the dark and sealed at room temperature
- It is recommended to store resin between 15 – 35 degrees in its original packaging
- Avoid dusty and damp environments
